OFFICERS

Michael and his wife, Maria, have visited Sarasota for the past 24 years from their home in Atlanta, Georgia.  He has an MS degree in Accounting and passed the CPA exam while working in public accounting.  In 1973 he left public accounting to become part owner/CFO of RTM Inc, and Arby’s Roast Beef franchisee in Atlanta.  In 1975 he sold his interest in RTM (which had 29 restaurants at that time) and started an equipment leasing company which he owned until 2003.  Michael now is a Realtor with ReMax Excellence and is based in their St. Armands office.  Michael and Maria purchased their first Sarasota home in 1996 on Gunwale Lane in Country Club Shores.  In February of 2000 Michael and Maria purchased 84 N. Washington Dr. on St. Armands and immediately initiated an eighteen month renovation project of this one year old home.  Nearing completion of the renovation project they finally moved to Sarasota in July of 2001.  He sees a great opportunity to increase the membership of the Association which, if brought to fruition, will increase the exchange of information among all residents.  He also visualizes a future program which would place the utility wires underground.  He looks forward to being active with the Association.
