OFFICERS
Ken attended the University of Maryland, studied Political Science, and has been a long-time resident of Baltimore, Maryland. He has extensive background in the transportation industry ranging from leasing and municipal light rail projects to owning and operating feeder railroads to the majors, such as CSX. These endeavors have been concentrated in Maryland, South Carolina and North Carolina. Other ventures included an antiques business and a high-quality metal plating business that included Tiffany among its clients. Ken has been recognized a number of times including “Business Leader of the Year”, and for outstanding contributions and fundraising by the ACS and YMCA. Community involvement also has included neighborhood beautification committees, restoration of historic railroad depots and Ken enjoys speaking to civic organizations. For his efforts, he has received a citation from the Governor of Maryland and another from the Mayor of Baltimore City for volunteer work and contributions to the Historic Belvedere Grand Condominiums and the Mt. Vernon neighborhood and community. Currently he is on the Board of Directors of American Shortline and Regional Railroad Association. He resides in the Tremont section of St. Armands Key and has two sons also in the railroad business and has five grandchildren.
