Hytham has been a resident of St. Armands since 1997 with his wife Diane and their two children. They have lived in different states throughout the East coast while he was working with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Hytham was born in Cairo, Egypt, and obtained his engineering degrees in the New York area. He has been providing engineering and construction services for the past 22 years. In mid 1999, he established Bakr Group, LLC, operating in the greater Sarasota area, and providing the same engineering and construction consulting services to clients throughout the Southeast. As he was approached to join the St. Armands Residents Association Board, he hopes to assist with different tasks, especially those which involve engineering and construction development such as the storm water management project.
