OFFICERS

Earl became a permanent St. Armand’s Key resident after retiring in January, 2003.  My wife and I purchased our current house in 1999 with the intent of making it our retirement home.  We have been members of the St. Armands Residence Association since our arrival and this past year I participated in the Associations Neighborhood Watch.  Prior to moving to Sarasota we lived in Virginia, California, and Ohio.  I retired after more than 32 years of federal service as the Deputy Auditor General of the Air Force (civilian position).  During my career I served on numerous committees at all levels of the Air Force.  While clearly the nature of my past work has little in common with our association, my experience in cooperating with diverse groups to reach a common goal should be helpful.  I have been married to Beverly since 1997 and we have two children.  Our daughter lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina while our son has returned to Dayton, Ohio where both Bev and I grew up.  Both children are married and we have one grandchild and another on the way.  Bev and I enjoy traveling and spend several months a year visiting family and friends or just vacationing somewhere.  While in town we keep busy working on our “fixer-upper” and go to the fitness center three or four days each week.  Bev is an avid reader and I enjoy fishing for local fresh water bass.
