OFFICERS

David and his wife Jeannie arrived on St. Armand’s Key seven years ago when they bought a house on Fillmore Drive having fallen in love with this distinctive community after spending a considerable amount of time looking at many many homes in the area.  They are from Montreal and Toronto and currently have a home in Toronto and summer home on Georgian Bay.  In Sarasota they have two sons out of eight children and five grandchildren out of fourteen.  They are keenly interested in this unique and beautiful barrier island and share the view of many of the members respecting the improvement and maintenance of this neighborhood with its residential and commercial perspectives.  David is a retired lawyer and businessman having been General Counsel in Canada for American Cyanamid Company and later a divisional general manager and laterally in the private practice of law.  He is on the Board of Directors of two public companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.  The Days try to spend at least most of the six months residency in Sarasota that they are permitted to spend here.  They are avid readers, grandparents and tennis players and are members of the Longboat Key Club.
